Introducing Qualiris by Stago: A New Hemostasis Quality Assurance Program Focused on Your Results

September 16, 2010, Parsippany, NJ - Diagnostica Stago, Inc. is proud to introduce the new Qualiris by Stago dedicated hemostasis proficiency testing program. This international quality assurance program (QAP) is an ideal complement to an existing quality program by offering the broadest range of routine and specialty proficiency testing parameters, all with the flexibility to meet your laboratory’s needs. Qualiris is a simple web-based system; participant results are compared both nationally and internationally for maximum statistical confidence no matter what hemostasis panel is tested.

The basic Qualiris program includes most routine hemostasis tests. A wide variety of specialty tests may be added at any time, including D-dimer, unfractionated heparin, low molecular weight heparin, factor assays and Thrombophilia (AT III, Protein S, Protein C.) In addition to flexible test selection, participation ranges from twice per year to reporting results on a monthly basis in order to accommodate your laboratory and scheduling needs.

Qualiris also maintains the popular Stago Systems Peer Program (S2P2) feature known as the Diagnostic Challenge, where an unknown sample with a specific coagulation issue is tested, and submitted results and conclusions are compared with other participants.

Qualiris provides real-time peer group reports and monthly, biannual, and annual reports with quantitative and qualitative statistics. Reports are color-coded and flagged for enhanced interpretation. Qualiris is supported by dedicated Stago experts to increase your hemostasis testing confidence, and ultimately leading to improved patient safety.
