Craig Abrahams, National Sales Manager Assumes Responsibility for Canadian Distribution at BioTek Instruments

November 13, 2009, WINOOSKI VT, USA — Craig Abrahams, National Sales Manager at BioTek Instruments, Inc., will expand his responsibilities to include BioTek's sales and distribution efforts in Canada. His current responsibilities include management of BioTek's proprietary direct distribution throughout the United States and will now also include Canada – including the Field Sales Representatives, Canadian Distribution, Inside Sales, and Field Applications Support Team. Abrahams is based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Winooski, Vermont and reports to Gary Barush, Director, Marketing & Sales.

"Craig brings the skills and experience necessary to manage our Canadian distribution while maintaining BioTek's leadership in our core U.S. market. He will work closely with Thermo Fisher Scientific in Canada to insure the high quality of customer care and responsiveness that are at the core of our brand promise," stated Gary Barush.

Mr. Abrahams has been employed at BioTek for over six years. Prior to that, he held executive positions at MWG BioTech, Inc. and sales positions at Applied Biosystems, Inc.
